Happy New Year!New year, new MyHOUSE. We’re in the process of revamping everything over here. Get ready for some awesome new contests, photos, sales, and products throughout the year.In case you missed our exciting December, we’ll catch you up. We started the month off by attending the Wyoming Valley Conference where wrestling coaches held their inaugural Media Day with 12 of the 13 teams in the conference. MyHOUSE was there in full force to support and deliver goods to the athletes in attendance.In December, we had some amazing sales for women in wrestling and also the men too! We’ll let you in on a secret, if you missed out on those, don’t worry, the sale is ongoing! Head over to grab some great practice gear today!On December 15th and 16th, we hosted the MyHOUSE X-Calibur with Wyoming Seminary at Wilkes University. There was an amazing turn-out with a ton of MyHOUSE athletes taking the podium. Our very own Alison was even there to hand out medals and awards.We celebrated Christmas by thanking our staff for an amazing year. We cut the day short and had an Ugly Christmas Sweater party! Check Facebook to see all the sweet sweaters our staff sported.Lastly, we rounded out 2018 with the MyHOUSE Trojan Wars and Powerade Tournament. We had so much fun cheering on all the amazing wrestlers and can’t wait for next year’s tournaments.Looking forward to 2019, we can’t wait to grow our relationship with our customers. It’s the busiest time of year here at MyHOUSE! Along with spending countless hours creating gear and making sure it’s perfect for all of our amazing teams, we hosted a tournament, made it out to a couple of wrestling events, and celebrated our amazing customers with a ton of sales. Time flies when you’re having fun and our MyHOUSE family was loving every minute of it.November 10th – November 11th we hosted the Journeyman/MyHOUSE Northeast Duals & Collegiate Classic. Nationally ranked wrestlers from across the US traveled to New York to compete. It was a grueling competition, but 10 athletes came out on top and received The Hammer! Congrats to Nick Farro (Lehigh), Ben Thornton (Purdue), Chance Marstellar (Lock Haven), Jordan Kutler (Lehigh), Dom Demas (Oklahoma), Justin Oliver (NC State), Lucas Weiland (Army), Nick Reenan (NC State), Rocco Caywood (Army), and Jordan Wood (Lehigh).Last month, we released our very anticipated Ugly Christmas Singlet! Our “Seasons Beatings” singlet was designed by our designer Mark and it was a hit! We kicked off the sale with the singlet selling for only $25! We didn’t stop there. We had such a good response to the singlet that we decided to drop the price even lower for our Cyber Monday sale. Some very lucky customers got to snag our Christmas singlet for only $20!With Thanksgiving just behind us, we like to reflect on what’s been going on the past few months. We want to thank our customers for choosing MyHOUSE to outfit your wrestlers. We take pride in each and every piece of gear we create for you. Thank you for a great kick off to the wrestling season! MyHOUSE is proud to announce that we are now supporting Girl on the Mat!

Girl on the Mat is a non-profit organization, based in Orange County, California, founded by female wrestlers, in support of female wrestlers. Their goal is to empower girls to step on the mat, provide equal opportunities for them and to help grow and promote the sport of women’s wrestling.

Former female wrestler, Monica Serratos, along with her husband and their 3 daughters, are motivating more girls to try wrestling. Since starting Girl on the Mat earlier this year, they have already made an impact. The young and knowledgeable Serratos sisters have a YouTube channel where they review women’s cut singlets, shoes, and clinics. They have done everything from being guests on podcasts to conducting their own interviews. Fernando Serratos hosts girls only wrestling practices, teaching the next generation of female wrestlers all the tips and tricks to help them succeed.

Girl on the Mat provides you with up to date information on the ever-growing female sport. Not only do they provide you with the best wrestling gear, they also give information on monthly battles and tournaments across the United States.

Some claim to be the first, but in 2014 we created the first women’s racerback singlet! With women’s wrestling becoming more popular, we wanted to give female athletes a choice and give them something to compete their best in. MyHOUSE Director of Operations, Elke, created the first singlet of its kind. Our women’s racerback singlet is specially designed for the female body, comfortable, and form fitting. Since 2014, we’ve been listening to our female wrestlers to get our women’s singlet perfect! We’ve improved our design over the years to give you the best quality. The difference is in the detail.

October was full of excitement for the MyHOUSE family. We had the privilege of being the official wrestling brand for 23 countries in the Senior World Championships in Budapest, Hungary.

Tim Pane, got the chance of a lifetime to travel to Budapest to watch and support all of the amazing wrestlers there. He even got to stay with the wrestlers from Team Jamaica for a night, thanks to our friend and Jamaica coach, Aurelio Valdez.

MyHOUSE athletes earned a total of 5 medals while in Budapest. Yowlys Bonne from Team Cuba, earned gold to become a world champion! Team Cuba also scored bronze with Alejandro Valdes Tobier, Frankie Maren, Lianna Montero Herrera and Oscar Pino Hinds! Special shoutout to Alejandra Romero Bonilla from Team Mexico. She came out to Budapest, by herself, to compete in worlds. She killed it and placed in 5^th! All of the wrestlers were amazing and put up a tough fight. Congratulations to everyone. You all looked pretty sick in your MyHOUSE singlets too.
